Nowadays samuel is very sweet when he say Ma ma.. and da da da.. he will shout loudly, and when you look at him, he will call you quietly. hhehe

Baobao started saying Mama, mum mum, take a few steps, saying “1 round”, try to snap his fingers, asking for iron, asking to go out. Baobao is ok to sleep with my parents at night, so it’s great that we can go to vietnam at ease.

Baobao can stand for a few seconds now if we distract him with a remote control – and he will use both hands to hold it. and he will forget he needs to hold something haha.
He’s saying more words like dada, etc. he knows my ‘daddy’, he calls each of us differently.

What will Samuel say about us?

You can already sense that i will fight tooth and nail to protect what’s mine.
I am so westernised ( yes i blame all of it to that ), that if my own parents behave wrongly, i will shoot them in the head. Who says I don’t feel remorse or regret? I will – but i will do what is right.

If they want to behave like 15 year olds, i will treat them like 15 year olds. Who says whoever who brought you into this world, is higher than you. they sacrificed because of pride, because they don’t want us to fail- because it would definitely make them suffer. Therefore they have ‘discipline’ to make sure we succeed. But too bad, it’s actually not for us, but for themselves.

just like whatever hope and dreams we have for Samuel is for ourselves. My dirty confession. No point keep singing that whatever we do is for our next generation. At least I don’t feel this way, yet.

So yes, I have given enough ‘zhants’ to my parents, that I feel remorse and regret that i still give them. I still put up a brave face knowing what i know.

How can you change? Nothing can make you change. You have the devil in you. There’s nothing external which can change you.

Yesterday, i woke up at 430 in the morning. And then went back to bed at 7. Then yixin put baobao next to me and went to toilet. I was drifting in and out of sleep. And then i heard the most horrifying sound ever. The sound of the plastic trash bin tipping sideways, and I jumped out of bed to see baobao on the floor on the belly, face up. And then he was crying profusely. Not sure if it’s from shock, or pain. I was so sad that i let such an accident happened. It’s a big lesson. All it takes is ONE minute of negligence. What’s good is that it happened to me, and not to my parents. My parents will see it as a warning and be more careful. It hurts so bad to know baobao fell down. my god.

I thank god that he’s ok. Have to be more careful with him from now on.

We went to Tampines mall to meet ershu, szuxin and bf. Ate at kopitiam.

Then we went home and yixin was inspired to play chess. So I set it up and we had a long game.

Went for badminton, and finally beat Uncle Qiming and David. 21 – 17 or something. This was after months of losing, and even today, we lost the first 2 games 18-21, 15-21 or something. so we played 4 games with old gingers today. During the last game ( which we lost ), the last point, they were just toying with me. Just let me smash and they just lift. At least I didn’t embarrass myself by smashing to the net. I did about 15 smashes. And was also alternating it with drops. I felt good. It was a good run. But in the end, i ran out of breath, and my smashes got weaker and weaker, and i dont remember how i lost that point, but it was very fulfilling. Now that I am at 95kg, I feel that i can run, and i will drop further. Then my form would be much better.

today samsam starts making booooooo sound. the ‘o’ sound. for weeks, he has been pffffttttt that sound. blowing out saliva. and of course he can do aaaaa sound.
