Very fulfilling weekend! Superman hubby set up the baby cot with his dad, re-arranged the cupboards and bed in the nursery and finally, we put up that cute growth chart of happy animals (hoping it will be some time till Samuel rips it off)!
I got do my part also la, organized the diaper trolley with the diapers, nappy liners, lotions and baby wipes. Packed the pump, bottles, hot and cold compress and other knick knacks for breastfeeding.

In front of the cot – That’s the hospital delivery bag and stayover bag packed, a second hand Capella stroller bought off Carousell for $35 only, and a big item from Zhixin we haven’t dared to open – a walker or bouncer hmmmmm.
On the bed – car seat from Zhixin, baby pool from Zhenxin, play mat 1 from Zhixin, play mat 2 from Xiaoli
On the floor – some cute musical playing thing… when Samuel learns to stand hmmmmmm.
We have so many things!

Samuel’s cute puffy name. A little indulgence for myself hehe. I only ordered for “SAM” and gonna sew “UEL” myself – i am kiam queen 😀
Bought all the confinement herbal soup packages too. Sheng Hua Tang was sold out at Hock Hua, and we decided to try out a medical hall helmed by an old auntie one fateful evening after dinner at Ghim Moh.Knowing that I’m only delivering next month, she actually told us not to buy now, and wait till I’ve given birth. Nonetheless, when she see that we are firm to buy as we want to be prepared beforehand, she went about picking herbs from her antique wooden cabinet drawers, carefully measuring each weight using her old school weighing scale that works on a counter-weight – it was an interesting sight. The old school days have improved; while she placed the herbs on a old school hot pink paper, she had a plastic packaging and to our surprise, she sealed the package with lamination! I was initially afraid of the herbs falling out, so amazed.
Now we’re all set – Just need to get down to washing the baby clothes and beddings. Soon.
It’s Week 36, the tummy’s big and heavy, shirts are getting short, often waking up in the night needing the toilet. Baby is 2.5kg and I’ve gained 10kg.
So thankful for my Superman Hubby who washed and hanged the clothes, cooked dinner while I was sleeping my Sunday away and even took the initiative to wash the dishes (until he was tired)!
Given so much love, I offered to takeover to wash the dishes till I was tired and managed to wash everything until the big pot really made my arms tired. So hubby took over again and washed up the rice pot. We’re such a team and I’m really thankful to God for us. Loves.
